With a view to our own growth, various profiles and backgrounds are of interest :
Engineers or scientists, with experience of setting up at least one industrial project in a multipartner and/or multidisciplinary context.
Commercial engineers, at ease in dialogue with enterprise managers, and capable of structuring, assembling and adapting all information necessary for a competent response to « calls for projects » ,
In all cases, it is not necessarily deep knowledge of a specific technological or scientific area that is important (although that may in itself be useful).
Rather – it’s the capacity to assimilate project objectives, to understand what’s at stake for our enterprise client and their partners, and find, filter, consolidate, and coherently structure a mass of information of various types – scientific, technical, political, industrial, market research, and financial.
It demands an inquisitive mind – and one capable of distilling, summarising and communicating information.
You should be fluent in English and at least one other European language – preferably French. You must be able to demonstrate mastery of written English – it’s our working language and crucial in putting together project dossiers, and in communicating with project participants from a variety of countries and cultures. Our own enterprise culture is resolutely anglo-saxon.
Strongly interested in innovation and R&D as it relates to the fortunes of enterprise, you have a complement of qualities such as :
- good relational sense,
- keeping the client’s interests at heart,
- the capability to work autonomously to schedule but guided structurally.
